Back from vacation and back to work! :) When I arrived back into town I already had a shoot scheduled for the following day. On Valentine's Day, I met this little cutie. Baby H is just a few weeks old and a pro at posing. Being a little bit older newborn he took some time to get to sleep and to stay asleep, but once he was out...he was out! :) Here are a few of my favorites from our session...

His parents just love him to pieces...





H learned to suck his thumb while I was there (he has been used to little hand covers). It was so adorable and I loved he technique. :)

•••Back in Action | Atlanta Photographer•••

Whew...finally getting back into the hang of things. We had a wonderful vacation in Costa Rica for last week, and I can't wait to share some photos with you guys. As suspected, we were with out Internet and phone for 99% of the time, so the beginning half of this week has been spent racing to catch up and get things back in order. Totally worth it though. :)

A few great events came across my desk while I was gone and I wanted to share this one with you. As many of you know my family and I participate in the Downtown Dash for Diabetes every year in honor of my Grandfather. For the second year in a row they have teamed up with California Pizza Kitchen for the kick off event (yum!).

On Tuesday, February 23rd if you present this coupon to any Atlanta area CPK the Diabetes Association of Atlanta will receive a 20% donation from your entire bill! The official Dash kick-off party will be at the Atlantic Station CPK location from 6-8p.m. that evening. Such a tasty way to help a great organization! I hope to see you guys there!

•••Leavin' On A Jet Plane | Atlanta Photographer•••

        At First Sight Photography will be closed from February 6th until February 14th. We are headed on vacation for the week and the office will be shut down. Due to the location that we are headed internet will be limited. I will try to get to emails every few days if I can as well as upload galleries and design proofs as needed. Also, I am almost 100% sure that my blackberry won't work where we are going as well, but if you leave a voice mail I will try to return the call if I can (Justen is currently having a panic attack at the idea of no crackberry for a week!). I hope everyone has a fabulous week! Hopefully, I will have some great photos to share with everyone when we get back! :)

Yesterday afternoon I a had a fun session with Mr. K. K is about four months and is all smiles!! He was the sweetest happiest baby, and you could just look at him and it would send him into a fit of giggles. I loved his little baby laugh! Because of the nasty rainy weather here in Atlanta, we decided to just hang out in K's living room and let him do his thing. It couldn't have been a better idea because it let K do all the things that make this age so fun! Here is just a peek...

Look at those blue eyes! I was told this is how he attracts all the ladies. I can see why. :)

•••Baby T Arrives! | Smyrna, GA Newborn Photographer•••

Yea! Baby T is here! I was so excited to photograph Baby T. All week I couldn't wait to see and hold a cute squishy little newborn. :) I met the L family at their home for T's photo debut. At first he was wide awake, but with a little holding from his mom and dad he went right to sleep. Until the mean photographer tried to move him. :) He was so sweet and loved to snuggle. We got some great shots, but here are a few of my favorite from the afternoon.

•••Waiting For Baby | Woodstock, GA Maternity Photographer•••

This past weekend I had a super fun maternity shoot. Mr. & Mrs. S are about one month away from Baby C's big arrival, and they decided to take a few maternity photos. Over the past few months I have gotten to know the S's and have seen how excited they are about their son. I even learned that Mrs. S had the biggest craving for anything sweet (especially M&M McFlurries). :) So I wanted to capture just how adorable and how fun the S's are for their shoot. Here are just a few of my favorites from their session. Can't wait to meet Baby C!
