•••T's First Birthday | Smyrna, GA Event Photographer•••

Last weekend, I was excited to attend T's first birthday party. After being trapped in the house all week due to the snow storm that hit Atlanta, it was nice to make my way out for such a fun event. The remnants of snow and ice were still visible around town, but the party went off with out a hitch. T's mom is always so creative, and T's party was no exception. The circus themed party was super cute down to every little detail. T was so cute to watch as he entertained his guests. His favorite thing to was play with all of the balloons. He loved them so much, I joked with Mr. and Mrs. L that they would have to have balloons in the house all the time now. My absolute favorite part about 1st birthday parties is the cake smash. T seemed to love both eating and playing with the cake, and once he removed the fondant from the top and found the actual cake there was no stopping him. I think by the time he was done he was in a sugar coma. Soon after with a belly full of cake he decided it was nap time. :) Here is just a little sneak peek at T's fun birthday party...

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY T!!

•••Maternity Leave | Atlanta, GA Photographer•••

Hi!
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I will be on maternity leave effectively immediately. I will still be answering emails, placing orders, and designing products as needed, but as far as sessions go I won't be returning to shooting until the first week of March. I originally wasn't planning on stopping until Baby G's arrival, but he has had other plans for me. :) I have updated the calendar on the website to include all current bookings. I will keep you guys posted on any changes, and can't wait to share the news of Baby G with you all!
Lots of Love,
Jen

•••The A Family | Duluth, GA Family Photographer•••

Happy New Year from the A family! :) This was my last session scheduled for 2010, and what a great way to end such a fun year! The A family was so much fun to hang out with and were so excited to be together for the holidays. I was so lucky to be able to capture a few fun family moments of them together. Here is a sneak peek at some moments from their session...

Loved how much they were into their wine! Wish I wasn't nine months pregnant so I could join! ;)
Daddy giving baby A kisses was so cute...but it was even cuter when baby A returned the favor. :)

And just a fun note to end on. I loved these matching shirts!

•••The M Family | Smyrna, GA Family Photographer•••

I met the M family for a session just after Christmas. Everyone had traveled to Atlanta from California, New York, and Florida and wanted some family photos together. Little could we have all predicted that it would be freezing cold and Atlanta would have its first white Christmas since the 1800's. We pushed the session back as much as possible so that we could have the warmest temperatures possible (warm being in the 30s) and giving the snow a chance to melt. The little ones were such troopers and held out for as long as they could in the frigid temps. I bet they were wondering why they left their warm sunny Southern California. :) With frequent warm up breaks inside or with jackets we were able to make it through. Here is a sneak peek at the M family's session...

•••Baby A On Her Way | Atlanta, GA Maternity Photographer•••

It is almost time for baby A to make her arrival! Just before the holidays the D family decided to take some photos to celebrate the upcoming arrival of their second little girl at the end of February. I loved that daddy and A's big sister were part of the shoot as well. It is such a fun time for the whole family that I love when everyone gets involved. :) Here is a sneak peek at D family's maternity shoot. Can't wait to meet Miss A next month!

•••Santa Baby | Ballground, GA Newborn Photographer•••

This little cutie patootie showed up right before the holidays. His mom said he made his way effortlessly into this world, and from the few hours I spent with him he seemed like such a laid back and calm baby. He didn't even mind all the attention big brother wanted to give him. :) I had so much fun holding and snuggling baby G and loved his little Santa outfit his mom had picked out for him. Here is a sneak peek at G's entire session...
