•••The "H" Family Preview•••

I met the "H" family last weekend to take some three month pics of their new son, Robert. Isn't he so sweet? I don't think he knew what I was, but he wasn't going to let me interrupt his day of fun. He was the happiest baby and was always smiling and kicking. Once we got into the sunshine though, he was warm and toasty and ready for a nap. :) 


I love taking pictures of babies tiny features. Little hands and feet are just so sweet.

•••The"B" Family Preview•••

This family was cute! The little ones were so excited to be outside and explore the covered bridge we were on...well they were excited for a few minutes anyway. ;) Nothing that a few gummy bear bribes couldn't fix though! But seriously, they had the sweetest little faces...

...just look at those pretty eyes and cute cheeks. I had to contain my inner grandma from giving them little pinches and kisses. :)

I took some really sweet pictures of Mr. & Mrs. "B". They were enjoying a nice quite moment to themselves...

...but then they were brought back to reality (notice the little arms). :) Mr. B made sure to warn me that when Justen and I decide to have children to expect this a lot. ;)

•••The "J" Family Preview•••

Last weekend I had a chance to photograph the "J" family. They have the cutest little boy, who has a ton of gorgeous red hair! I think that is my fifth redhead this month! :) Like many young ones his age he was so curious about everything. It was fun to watch him check out the water falls, play with whatever he found on the ground, and just overall be happy in the new surroundings he was in.
Here he is on a mission. A leaf mission. Nothing is more fascinating than leaves on the ground. They are so fun...they crunch and make cool noises...and they taste good too! :)


To divert him from one of his last leaf eating missions I stuck my sunglasses on him. :) This lasted for about two seconds before he took them off and went back to his mission, but I was able to catch a quick pic.

•••Attention All Mommys/Mommys-to-Be•••

During my rush hour commute yesterday, I had just finished helping Leona Lewis sing back-up to her Bleeding Love song (man, do I love that song) when I heard commercials start to come on. Figuring I should do an encore performance for my fellow commuters I was about to change the station when I heard an interesting commercial. It was a commercial for the American Baby Faire. My curiosity was peaked after hearing that local photographers would be exhibited as well. I made a mental note to check it out when I got home in a few hours (yes, my commute is that long) and then went on to change the station since laser hair removal is of no use to me right now. Now playing, Flo Rida - yes I do love me some apple bottom jeans and boots with the fur. :)

Anyways, I checked it out when I got home and here is the information.

It looks like they will have tons of exhibitors featuring maternity clothes, children's toys & books, car seats and stroller displays, furniture, scrapbooking...this list goes on and on. Also, it says you can bring your children and there will be concerts, entertainment and treats for them as well. Might be worth checking into if you want to get some discounts on certain products (usually at these things exhibitors give away a lot of free stuff).

Just thought I would pass it along to all my cute mommys/mommys-to-be! :)

•••MB's Baby Bump Preview•••

Told you it was baby season! Here is another cute mommy-to-be. :) MB was such a sweetheart and such a good model. She and her husband have the cutest house to take pictures, and I was in love with their huge porches. Give me a rocking chair and I could have stayed for days. :)



You can't tell from this angle, but little Jackson was moving around in MB so much that I could see her belly moving in my camera. We both giggled about this so much, but how neat/sweet is that?

•••The "V" Family Preview•••

Meet the "V" family. A few weekends ago I met the "V" family in Downtown Woodstock for our session. This family was meant for pictures. Not only were they super cute, but they were open to doing a lot of different things. Tropical Storm Fay was definitely present with her strong winds and rain. Poor Mrs. V had to resort to a pony tail to combat her windblown hair, but she still looked beautiful! Luckily, the rain held off to a light sprinkle at its worst so we were able to get a lot of fabulous shots in. 

We even did some fun things with the train caboose. Isn't this cute? The boys had a blast on the caboose and probably could have played on it all day long if we let them.

Guess who the "V" family is cheering this football season? :)
