I love doing all types of photography, but I think something that definitely tops the list is capturing first birthdays. I love how fun they are and watching the birthday boy/girl dig into cake for the first time is my absolute favorite! Last month I had the pleasure of capturing E's first birthday party. His parents always plan fabulous parties and no detail is left unnoticed. The party was so much fun for all ages with delicious food and treats, and icee truck, and the LARGEST bounce house I have ever seen! Here is a quick sneak peek at E's first birthday celebration...

•••L's Birthday Party | Woodstock, GA Event Photographer•••

Sharing an oldie but a goodie. :) Here are a few quick pics from Miss L's adorable Minnie themed first birthday party. All of the decorations and the details were perfect! Miss L had tons of friends and family to help her celebrate her special day, and everyone had big smiles on their faces. L was a little hesitant about her smash cake at first but was quickly all smiles when she realized she could smoosh down the polka dots on it. She stayed a lady though as not a bit of cake landed on her face. If I had to guess her favorite part of the day, I would say it was when her uncle brought her his gift...a huge cuddly teddy bear! She was beyond excited! :) Here is just a quick peek...

•••T's First Birthday | Smyrna, GA Event Photographer•••

Last weekend, I was excited to attend T's first birthday party. After being trapped in the house all week due to the snow storm that hit Atlanta, it was nice to make my way out for such a fun event. The remnants of snow and ice were still visible around town, but the party went off with out a hitch. T's mom is always so creative, and T's party was no exception. The circus themed party was super cute down to every little detail. T was so cute to watch as he entertained his guests. His favorite thing to was play with all of the balloons. He loved them so much, I joked with Mr. and Mrs. L that they would have to have balloons in the house all the time now. My absolute favorite part about 1st birthday parties is the cake smash. T seemed to love both eating and playing with the cake, and once he removed the fondant from the top and found the actual cake there was no stopping him. I think by the time he was done he was in a sugar coma. Soon after with a belly full of cake he decided it was nap time. :) Here is just a little sneak peek at T's fun birthday party...

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY T!!

•••Atlanta Heart Walk 2010 | Atlanta, GA Photographer•••

This upcoming weekend an amazing event will be held in Atlanta. On Saturday, October 30th the Atlanta Heart Walk will take place at Turner Field. This annual event is help to raise awareness and gain support for research and prevention of heart and cardiovascular diseases. Such issues affect millions of people everyday, and many of us will either know someone or experience ourselves health issues related to heart and/or other cardiovascular diseases.

I would like to introduce you guys to my good friend Mandy. Mandy has an amazing story, and is just one of the incredible people you can help support this weekend. Here is an awesome video that was made about Mandy and her mother...

I would love for you guys to come out and support Mandy, her family, and the thousands of others that will be at the Heart Walk this year. Baby G and I will be there with camera in hand! :) Hope to see you there!

•••Mr. E's Birthday Party | Douglasville, GA Event Photographer•••

Yea for parties! E's parents also asked me to photograph his first birthday party. It was the cutest themed party ever! All of the decorations were perfect and so fun. E seemed a little overwhelmed at first with all of his party guests, but soon he was in full party mode. He had a blast playing with all of his family and friends that attended and LOVED his smash cake. Here is a sneak peek at his super cute party.

•••Miss S Turns 2! | Atlanta Event Photographer•••

Happy Birthday Miss S!! I was so excited when the P family asked me to take photos of Miss S's birthday party. Birthday parties are so much fun and one of my favorite things to photograph. Just before the holidays, Miss S celebrated her 2nd birthday with all of her friends and family. She hosted her birthday party at a fun place called Gymboree, which was super cute play gym and seemed like so much fun for the little ones. It was a blast watching Miss S enjoying each piece of equipment and playing all the games with her friends.

Mr. and Mrs. P did a fabulous job decorting for Miss S's birthday in the sweetest cupcake theme complete with individual large cupcakes for dessert for everyone. Yum! If I ever lost sight of Miss S, all I had to do was look for a large pink cupcake balloon. Miss S loved the balloon and carried it around with her the whole afternoon. It was so cute! :)

Time for cupcakes! I loved watching all the party guests eating their large cupcakes. They were so excited to see how big it was and most dug right in as soon as it was in front of them. It was adorable to look around and cute two year old faces covered in frosting. :)

•••Miss A Turns Two•••

Yea for Miss A turning two! Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Miss A's super fun birthday party. The party was at Kangazoom, and I think both kids and adults had a blast. It was so fun to watch Miss A and all of her friends jumping, running, and playing on all of the inflatable toys they had (I was so jealous!). :) Here are a few highlights from Miss A's party...
